It sucks when that shit gets into such young people (he still had a long way to live).
May he rest in peace. inocente.gif

My grandma died of cancer months ago, but she was 84. It sucks very much when it happens to younger people... I'm really shocked, when they went on hold I hoped that everything were going to be fine and they will continue with their history, but now it seems to be at the end...
Rest in peace Munetaka, you will live forever...

Munetaka Higuchi (樋口宗孝), drummer of LOUDNESS, passed away at 10:44 am on November 30th in the hospital in the Osaka city after a battle with hepatocellular carcinoma.

In March this year, Higuchi was admitted to a hospital for the inspection because abnormality was found in the liver. As a result of the closer inspection, cancer was detected, then he was away from the band activity for recuperation. He has received the anti-cancer drug treatment over several time and had a part of the liver ablative surgery. In October, the official announced his status on the website that the "situation doesn't allow premature conclusions".

Akira Takasaki (高崎晃), guitarist of LOUDNESS, posted a message on his blog that, "Thank you for a lot of assistances and get-well wishes for him and us". Minoru Niihara (二井原実), vocal of LOUDNESS, also posted a message on his blog to speak his mind that, "I never forget that I could meet you, made a lot of albums with you, hold many lives in many nights with you, and drank and told with you... I'm missing you, Higuttuan, thank you for your everything over the past long time".

The wake and the funeral service are executed by the form named 'family Houm' according to his wishes and his family's strong intentions. In addition, the farewell ceremony is scheduled to be held later for his colleagues and the fan. Details are to be announced on the official website.

Musashi from K-1 posted about Higutsan. I'll watch his match on new years eve :)
QUOTE (Musashi)

Japan lost it's greatest drummer... Man, I got devastated when I first heard this... Munetaka was my favorite drummer, ever.

I hope you rest in peace, Higuchi-San!

That makes it sound better than it is."
